Outdoor seating has been set up in front of the city’s cafés and restaurants since April 15, 2026, and as soon as the sun comes out, we can’t wait to go out for a stroll.
Rue Saint-Paul Est (Old Port) – April 15 to October 29, 2026

Between the Bonsecours Market and Saint-Laurent Boulevard, Saint-Paul Street is pedestrian-only throughout the summer. It’s right in the heart of Montreal’s Old Port, which is the city’s tourist hub.
It’s a street where you go for a stroll to enjoy a soft-serve ice cream, to admire the architecture and the cool breeze from the river—and with good shoes, because the cobblestones are original.

And in the summer, wooden benches are set up all over the place—it’s the perfect street for lounging in the sun.
