As soon as the sun starts to heat up the asphalt and roses bloom in small gardens, winding their way around Montreal’s spiral staircases, the city develops its own soundtrack. All summer long, there’s music all over the city—Sunday Tam-Tams, Piknic Électroniks, festivals, and free outdoor concerts almost every weekend.
To make sure we never spend an evening without music, we’ll also be checking out the laid-back Campbell Concerts all summer long—completely free—from June 11 to August 27 across the island’s 19 arrondissements.
The Campbell Concerts, Summer 2026 Schedule
This summer, the 21 Campbell Concerts are for everyone, and reflecting the diversity of Montrealers and artists, the lineup will feature brass band concerts, a classical concert, and performances by R&B, soul, Afro-Thai funk, electronic, jazz, and salsa artists…
And to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Notre-Dame-de-Grâce (NDG) neighborhood, the Montreal Classical Orchestra will perform on August 8 at 7 p.m. at Georges-Saint-Pierre Park.
