A performance at the 2026 MURAL Festival, on the Plateau Mont-Royal

The nerve center of these urban artworks isthe very cool Plateau Mont-Royal neighborhood. And every year, the Plateau hosts the free urban art festival MURAL. For 10 days, new murals are paintedlive, and every day there’s music and installations. It’s like a big neighborhood party—the perfect place to bring our most artistic friends and our crushes who live on the Plateau, matcha in hand.
This is the 14th edition of the MURAL Festival, and this year, mural artists from all over the world have been invited to create works that you can check out using an interactive map available onthe MURAL website.
On weekend evenings during the festival, there will be neighborhood parties and free concerts at the MURAL site, andif we look at the June weather forecast, we’re hopeful for good weather.

To take a stroll through the forest without really leaving the city, for a date with a touch of nature, or for a walk with friends who spend too much time online. Plus, you can bring your dog.

And, right next to the library, there’s a greenhouse like those in English gardens, filled with the scent of large leaves and summer flowers.
