The Winter Olympics will take place in Milan, Italy, between February 4 and 22, 2026. And, since Canada is very strong in winter sports, we expect our athletes to bring home a good number of medals.
The opening ceremony is on February 6, 2026, and of course, we’ll be able to watch it on TV. During the two weeks of the Olympics, we’ll be able to see Team Canada compete in:
- curling
- snowboarding
- ice hockey
- figure skating
- speed skating
- cross-country skiing
- luge
- biathlon
- ski jumping
- alpine skiing
- freestyle skiing
- skeleton
- bobsleigh
And after the events, to celebrate the medals and the grand sporting finals of the Winter Olympics, we can meet up at the Esplanade Tranquille for two days of “FestiFan” on February 21 and 22, 2026.
