February 14: Valentine’s Day
It’s the season to be in love in Montreal. Even if the weather is chaotic, little sparrows sing in chorus under cars parked in the alleys. The asphalt sidewalks are just slippery enough to fall in love (and possibly scrape your knee, which will need to be disinfected by someone sexy). The sun sets later and later.

*Every Saturday in February: Free Snow Yoga on the Plateau Mont-Royal
The most Montreal thing you can do this January 2026 is a downward dog in 40 cm of powder snow at -15 degrees Celsius—all while wearing padded leggings and maintaining a truly nonchalant attitude.
Not only is it good for your muscles, but it also refreshes (literally) your mind. And frankly, isn’t that what we need to motivate ourselves tofulfill all our New Year’s resolutions this year?

*February 7 and 14: Dômesicle Parties at the SAT

Ten years ago, the Society for Arts and Technology held its first party under its dome. In addition to a DJ, videos and artistic creations are projected onto the 360° walls, creating a small closed-circuit world that accompanies the electro set. Just the height of the ceiling, just that, makes the experience just strange enough to make the party feel like it’s happening on another planet.
Since then, Dômesicle parties have become a must-see event on the Montreal nightlife scene, and for their 10th anniversary, the SAT has announced a very intense lineup.
Where?Under the dome of the Society for Arts and Technology (SAT), at 1201 Saint-Laurent Boulevard
When?Saturdays from January 10 to March 21, 2026, from 10 p.m. to 3 a.m.
