Winter is long and cold without someone to keep us warm (and pay half the hydro) even though we’re incredibly independent and don’t need anyone – obviously. For single go-getters who’ve been in a grind at work and on the stairmaster since January 1, we’ve got a little pre-Valentine’s Day present.
We know that being single is great-and Montreal has a reputation for being a city where people are almost preternaturally sexy. We also know that Valentine’s Day is a commercial holiday invented by greeting card companies, and that the chocolate in the heart-shaped boxes is often too sweet and gives you a headache.
