This year,Mother’s Day is Sunday, May 10 in Quebec, and we all know that Mother’s Day is serious business.
Montreal willbe teeming with bouquets of flowers wrapped in pastel crepe paper, spa days, restaurant reservations (made at the last minute for those who—horror of horrors—had forgotten), and, of course, all the moms—stars of the day and stars of our lives.
A super-chic brunch—at the Ritz-Carlton

Moms won’t be cooking on Mother’s Day, so why not treat them to brunch at the Ritz with all-you-can-eat oysters, cakes, and mimosas?
A bouquet of tulips— U-Pick Tulip Field in Laval

Every year in Montreal, an event signals that spring is here to stay, and the announcement comes with a thousand nearly identical photos of influencers incottagecoredressesinthe middle of a field. It’s the “u-pick tulips” farm in Laval, where 800,000 tulips are quietly blooming right now, and they’ve just announced their 2026 season.
Tulips have a certain charm of their own, and the official opening date hasn’t been announced yet on the U-Pick website…
BUT we invite you to visit the website to check, because in this swashbuckling atmosphere, you can still plan your visit by booking tickets and strategizing to get the most beautiful bouquet/the most beautiful photo of the spring.
The U-Pick website is here!
A day at the spa— Balnea

Our favorite spa is nestled on a mountainside, on the edge of a lake. And our moms deserve to relax there—with us, of course; we’re not going to leave them all alone.
It’s Balnea in Bromont, and it’s $55 for a half-day—that leaves just enough time to sweat it out in all the spa’s saunas with a view of the lake and have a drink with a charcuterie board by the fire afterward…
A hike— Dorwin Falls Park (Rawdon)

There are 3 km of nature trails, a picnic area, and you can go for a walk with a dog at Dorwin Falls Park in Rawdon. You can bring the whole family and follow Mom all the way to the falls—and we’ll have brought her the picnic.
Surrounded by dense forest, the waterfalls are incredibly romantic, especially during the snowmelt.
You can’t go swimming there, but the park’s lookouts offer spectacular views for a day of relaxation and contemplation.
