Ten years ago, everyone started riding cross-country bikes on the scorching asphalt of Quebec roads. With the wind in their hair, our favorite couples spent their weekends riding. What’s fashionable right now is even simpler: no need to buy a carbon-fiber bike for an outdoor sport (also with the wind in your hair).
What’s cool right now – and a great way to meet someone hot to date in 2026 – is to get ready to run the marathon.
If we start running every other day on January 1, 2026, we’ll be ready to run 40km in October, right?

Run Clubs – where do I sign up?
Run clubs are the best way to train if you’re worried about losing motivation after the first few weeks – and we’ve heard it’s the only place in Montreal where you can meet someone who’s right for you .

Here are 5 clubs to join in 2026;
- for those who want to run in nature – the Mont-Royal Run Club
- for early risers – the 6AM Club
- for those who also like to party – the Griffintown Run Club
- for the more serious – the Uptempo Running Club
- for those who live in the West – the De Grâce Running Collective
Have a good marathon!
