The apple season begins in summer in Quebec, but the region’s apples are the centerpiece of Quebec autumn. Even from Montreal, the most urban and international city around, apples are easy to pick.
It’s been a very hot summer, and now that the air is cooler and the blossoms have fallen from the trees, you can even see little apples in the streets and parks of Montreal.
And, close to the city or a short drive away, you can go apple picking in some of Quebec’s most beautiful orchards.
