We’re in the middle of writing our Christmas Bucket List and – this is serious – we’ve dedicated an entire section to holiday markets and all their wonders.
Braziers, the smell of fir, Santa Baby, a few snowflakes and local artisans – and we’re going hungry. Mulled wine, of course. And pretzels, raclette cheese on thick slices of bread, hot chocolate, gingerbread… We have the delicate palate of a child who has just discovered sugar, and we’re ready to criss-cross the hills of Quebec to spend a few hours at a sweet Christmas market.
Within a 3-hour drive of Montreal, we’ve got a list of 8 Christmas markets to visit in the region this holiday season…
