It’s still cold, alas, and we’ve scanned every curb looking for a crocus but saw nothing but old, thawed beer cans and colorful plastic wrappers. Flowers in the streets of Montreal aren’t here just yet.

The owner and artistic director of Prune les Fleurs, Nadine Jazouli, left her 13-year career in advertising to work with flowers. Since then, Prune’s bouquets have been the prettiest in town. This spring, we’re feeling a little inspired to be just as sophisticated…

The second half of April marks the awakening of the bulbs in Montreal.
Between April 15 and 30, Montreal sees the reappearance of crocuses, snowdrops, daffodils, and early tulips as the ground thaws—a sign that spring is well and truly here.
