For Pokémon fans, serious collectors who keep their plastic-laminated cards under glass, nerds, and those who are still young at heart, there’s a big Pokémon card market in Montreal this weekend.
Pokémon cards are apparently a very serious business, and cards featuring the various Pokémon from the ultra-nostalgic animated series are now worth up to hundreds of thousands of dollars, depending on their rarity.
On Saturday, September 26, 2026, there will be a major special market for Pokémon cards and collectors in Montreal.

SEPTEMBER POKÉHOBBY MEGA-MARKET
The cards aren’t meant for playing; they’re meant to be kept, collected, traded, and cherished. Under plastic, under glass, in boxes, or displayed in the living room—it’s up to you.
At the big market organized by POKÉHOBBY this Saturday, there will be:
- sellers who buy, sell, and trade Pokémon, Riftbound, One Piece, and other TCG cards and collectibles
- booster packs for kids
- a safe, welcoming, and inclusive space to meet other enthusiasts
- giveaways and special guest vendors
The event is free, and for those who’d like to get a head start and have first dibs on the rarest and most sought-after cards, there’s a $20 ticket to enter the market an hour early.
