Want to get away from it all? Yes, all the time. Did it rain in the morning? We did too.
So we went online (for the job, we swear) and took a look at Google Flights, which uses an algorithm we don’t understand to find the cheapest flights for the next few weeks.
We found 5 at $500 or less, and avoiding the U.S. (given the current mood);
Vancouver, BC / $342 return with West Jet
When do we go? May 1 to May 7
We travel to Canada because we shop local right down to our travels, and also because Vancouver is one of the most beautiful places in the country. The vast forests, the beaches (Erika Drolet surfs there, and with a little practice we can too) and the city… Very natural, very chic, and very warm and sunny in May.
Aruba / $417 roundtrip with United
When do we go? March 17 to March 24
We’re heading straight for the turquoise waters, cocktails with little umbrellas and fine sand…
San Jose, Costa Rica / $498 round trip with Spirit
When do we leave? March 29 to April 4
The warm evening air as we stroll through the streets of San Jose, the history, the cafés on the terraces…
Bogotá, Colombia / $359 round trip with COPA
When do we go? March 20 to March 29
We visit Colombia’s capital, returning with rosy cheeks and eyes full of architecture, small neighborhoods, detours, music, flowers…
Mexico City, Mexico / $513 round trip with United
When do we go? March 28 to April 3
The coolest city for fashion, food, art… We’re following all the local influencers to see everything, and getting ready to visit the markets early in the morning so that it’s a bit cool and there are still the peeled candles like flowers we all want in every color.
Bon Voyage!
