One of the most frustrating memories of childhood is undoubtedly the total irritation of having to cover up your beautiful costume – the one you’ve worked hard for weeks to make, the most exceptional and unique costume in the universe – with a heavy coat and scarf to go trick-or-treating on Halloween.
Princess crowns over a toque? Unbearable. The Batman cape? Unbearable. Oh, the injustice of an icy wind and snow that melted our beautiful makeup!
As much as the media love to go overboard with their weather predictions, we’re here today to tell all you little Montrealers that no, it won’t be snowing on Halloween this year. We’ve got the details…
Weather forecast for Friday, October 31, 2025
Already, Halloween is on a Friday, and that’s a pretty good deal. Our kids will be able to stay up late and eat candy (not too much, of course) while watching The Nightmare Before Christmas over the weekend, making a smooth transition from the spooky season to the holiday season.
Now for the weather forecast for Friday, October 31, 2025…
Meteomedia predicts that the day will be cloudy (a little moody for a day of celebrating the dark things). Less than a millimetre of rain is forecast, so we can say right away that it probably won’t rain.
On the other hand, the day will be very humid, so we’re putting a few Kleenex in the pockets of the little Montrealers in case they get a runny nose…
It’ll be a maximum of 11 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 6 degrees Celsius – so not very warm, but with a jacket and a pair of gloves or tights under the suit it should be fine. And running from house to house to get the candy is a great way to warm up.
Happy Halloween!
