On weekends from January to March 2026, during the powdery heart of Quebec’s winter sports season, a shuttle bus transports Montrealers who don’t want to (or can’t) take the car to the region’s winter centers…
You can pack all your gear (skis, snowshoes, etc.), sit back in the school-bus-style shuttle and watch the most beautiful views of the Quebec winter unfold through the window.

La NANA – and the best views in the region
La Navette Nature, a bus dedicated to improving sustainable eco-tourism mobility and accessibility to nature, has been making the round-trip between Quebec’s major cities and mountains for several years now.
From Montreal, 18 “nature destinations” are listed on their website, and new ones are added every winter. NANA has partnerships with municipal nature sites, Parks Canada, SEPAQ and PARQ.
- Mount Kaaikop
- Ouareau Forest Regional Park
- Îles-de-Boucherville National Park
- Sept-Chutes Regional Park
- La Mauricie National Park
- Parc National du Mont-Mégantic
- Mont-Tremblant National Park
- Parc Régional Val-David, Val-Morin
- Bras du Nord Valley
- Parc National du Mont-Orford
- Oka National Park
- Île Saint-Bernard, ecological center and wildlife refuge
- Parc de la Gorge de Coaticook
- Parc Régional du Mont-Ham
- Parc National de la Yamaska
- Montagne d’Argent climbing and hiking park
- Gault Nature Reserve
- Mont Saint-Bruno
- and more…

There’s something for everyone, and best of all, the rides are always in the region’s most beautiful mountains and forests. Whether it’s a ski resort or just a nature center where you can snowshoe, it’s worth it.
We leave Montreal and pile into a school bus (repainted white), with our gear in the trunks and at our feet. The bus window is frozen. The sun makes the snow glisten, weighing down the fir branches. It really doesn’t get any better than this.
