In Montreal, as everywhere else in the world, we all have a self-diagnosed addiction to social networking – preferably when the year’s coming to an end and we feel like reinventing ourselves as more proactive people.
And we’re here to tell you that it’s okay, that we’re all in the same boat and that we’ve found a cure that will bring together TikTok’s most inspiring art videos and our desire to turn off our phones and do something about it.
We’re off to a Dine & Dish event, plus there’s a holiday greeting card workshop at the end of December…
Dine & Dish
The workshops offered by Dine & Dish always have two components: to eat, and to create. Each time, the activity is different, and the event takes place in a Montreal restaurant or café.
But most importantly, Dine & Dish events are like evenings out with your girlfriends. You can go alone or with a friend for emotional support, but you know you’ll leave with new acquaintances.
So far, Dine & Dish’s workshops have been varied; scones, bag charms, tarot and espresso martinis, crochet, painting, junk journaling . .. There’s something for all our best girlfriends – now and in the future.
And for the festive season, the December 21 workshop is a greetings card-making event at Café Oui Mais Non…
