The love story we’re all fantasizing about this winter isn’t Emerald Fennel’s violently romantic tragedy Wuthering Heights ( 2025), it’s the ultra-sexy relationship between two hockey players in Heated Rivalry (2025-) on Crave.
Heated Rivalry tells the story of the passionate relationship between two top-level hockey players in the National Hockey League —Shane Hollander (New York/Boston Admirals) and Ilya Rozanov (Boston/Montreal Raiders). They have an intense public rivalry and a very intense romantic relationship in private.
The first seasonof Heated Rivalry created a kind of global collective hysteria and renewed interest in hockey, Canada, and Montreal. And, joy! The last episode of the season—titled “The Cottage”—can now be experienced by fans and lovers alike, because the famous Cottage is now listed on the Airbnb rental platform…

The Cottage
The Cottage is where the two protagonists cement their love, surrounded by nature and overlooking the Muskoka Lakes. It’s about a 6-hour drive from Montreal, or a 2-hour drive from Toronto (which can be reached by train).
It is a beautiful glass and wood chalet with three bedrooms and a gas fireplace. It was built in 2020 for a private client, and fans of the series already know it like the back of their hand.
The interior features high ceilings, an American-style kitchen, access to the lake, and wall-to-ceiling Douglas Fir paneling from our region.

The Cottage will be available to rent on weekends in May for the bargain price of $248.10 per night (well below the prices of lakeside cottages, many of which belong to real-life hockey players, incidentally).
The price—which will be available for a few nights only—is a nod to the characters’ jersey numbers (24 and 81). Rentals are likely to be more expensive, averaging around CAD 1,400 per night.

Enjoy your visit to the Cottage!
