One of the most frustrating childhood memories is undoubtedly the sheer irritation of having to cover up your beautiful costume—the one you pestered your parents about for weeks, the one you shed a tear over, the one that itches and is covered in ribbons and hot glue, the most exceptional and unique costume in the entire universe—with a big coat and a scarf to go trick-or-treating on Halloween.
Princess tiaras over a beanie? Unbearable. A Batman cape over a sweatshirt? Unwearable. Oh, the injustice of an icy wind and the snow that melted our beautiful makeup!
Halloween 2026, miraculously, is going to be sunny and a little cool, but not too much. And, since it’s a Saturday, we’ll have the whole day to enjoy it.
