Nothing screams HALLOWEEN more than an evening at the drive-in (or, in French, the “cinéparc”)… Immediately, you think of *Salem’s Lot* and *The Town That Dreaded Sundown*, urban legends, and the 1950s.
The idea of snuggling up to our partner—dressed as Gillian Anderson in *Teenage Sex and Death at Camp Miasma* or wearing the *Scream* mask—with a pack of Twizzlers on our lap, under the full moon, is delightfully cinematic.
For Halloween, the Cinéparc Saint-Eustache, one ofthe coolestdrive-ins in the region, organizes annual family-friendly evenings for those who are nostalgic, romantics, and kids…

THE SAINT-EUSTACHE DRIVE-IN
It’s the drive-in with the most retro design in the area: red and white, linoleum flooring in the snack bar, a neon sign, pinball machines, pink tiles, and popcorn. But, incidentally, it’s also the largest and most modern in Canada.
There are five screens, all showing double features, and plenty of parking all around.
There’s also an ice cream shop, a flea market, and arcades—you can spend the afternoon there, pick up a vase, throw a blanket in the back of your pickup truck (or imported FIAT, depending on your preference), and watch a movie at dusk.
It’s incredibly romantic, it’s nostalgic, and it’s going to do us a world of good this summer. We recommend reserving in advance and arriving a little before sunset so you have time to stroll around and soak up the atmosphere.
Of course, we’ll have left our cell phones in the glove compartment.

HALLOWEEN
Every year for Halloween, the Cinéparc de Saint-Eustache hosts free evening events with daytime activities.
In recent weeks, as the summer season draws to a close, the drive-in has been showing films that are already a bit “spooky,” such as the new RESIDENT EVIL and PRACTICAL MAGIC 2.
Even though we don’t have the Halloween 2026 schedule yet, we recommend marking this outing on your calendar in advance for the end of October.
