The Korean POCHA Festival will take place at Peel Basin in the Griffintown neighbourhood from June 11 to 14, 2026, for its 6th edition.
It’s the largest Korean street market in Quebec, and also one of the country’s biggest gatherings of K-pop fans. The atmosphere will be electric, along the canal—with a cool river breeze, sizzling barbecues, K-pop music, and a grand cultural celebration of South Korea
Street Food and Street Market
One of the highlights of these four days of celebration is Korean street food . Popularized by the internet, the country’s opening up to international visitors, and influencers who love spicy food and ultra-Instagrammable skewers, Korean cuisine has been one of the hottest trends of the past decade.
Whether you’re already familiar with it or just discovering it, you’ll be able to samplethe iconic tteokbokki(spicy stir-fried rice cakes),Korean fried chicken, andkogos(Korean pogos). There willbe about twenty food stalls…We recommend going for a run beforehand to make room to try everything!

In addition to thestreet food stalls, there will also bearound forty stalls whereyou can shop for ourfavorite Korean products:K-beauty cosmetics(those that give skin a “glass” effect and the miraculous ones made with snail slime), snacks, reimagined traditional items, andstreetwear.
K-pop gathering
POCHA is collaborating with Kmtl Event and KFMontréal (K-Pop Fandom Montreal), the beating heart of the city’s K-pop fandom, which currently has 17 different fan groups.
K-pop fans will love the shows (where you’ll be encouraged to dance and sing along) and the festival’s performances, and those who aren’t familiar with it can just eat fried chicken while dancing…
And for fans, there’s a K-pop dance competition to watch on Saturday, June 13, at 2 p.m. It will bring together 13
groups competing for a $3,000 prize.
