Just two hours from Montreal, Le Nordik Spa Village in Chelsea is like an oasis for the stressed (back-to-school season has been brutal for many Montrealers) and in need of a day of pumpkin spice (or water and cucumber, whichever you prefer) relaxation.
This is more than a spa – it ‘s a whole village of relaxation in the middle of the forest, and it’s absolutely delicious…

Care, waters and remedies from the boreal forest
Nordik Spa Village Chelsea taps deep into the healing and emotionally introspective properties of the boreal forest-the northern forest that covers Quebec.
These properties are blended with the Finnish sauna and its culture of introspection that smells of wood and essential oils.

You can take part in an Aufguss, a Germanic ritual that blends thermotherapy and aromatherapy in a ceremony akin to guided meditation.
You can also pass through several saunas, hot and cold baths and relaxation zones (silent or not) to complete a cycle of meditation, relaxation and introspection to recharge your batteries before returning to Montreal.
Cocktails, fires and fallen leaves
After meditative relaxation, you can also have some autumnal fun at Nordik Village…
The village has a dedicated area, where you can enjoy a glass of (natural?) wine while drying your hair and admiring the spectacular view of the surrounding forest. The space, by the way, is called Panorama.
It’s the most luxurious way we’ve found to reconnect with nature, between the Biergarten and the cold bath with waterfall…
