Since the 1970s, Montreal has been one of those cities where, if you head out on a Tuesday night with no particular plan, you might discover one of the best bands, DJs, or songwriters you’ve ever heard. Montreal’s underground scene has its roots in the city’s cool vibe, its immigrant heritage, and its most “free-spirited” and talented artists.
From December 3 to 6, 2026, a new festival will celebrate Montreal House music, its roots, and its community in Montreal. The festival is called De La House, and it’s happening at the super-cool Ausgang Plaza.

HOUSE MUSIC, MONTREAL, AND 4 DAYS OF UNDERGROUND FESTIVAL
The De La House festival is organized by Ausgang Plaza, Le Maquis, Ballroom 4 Community, Le Système, and the 100Lux dance school, and will celebrate House culture both on and off the dance floor. There will be Montreal artists, international artists, and plenty of House history and culture.
There will be 12 events over the 4 days of the festival, and it will kick off with a huge free party at Ausgang Plaza.
