The seventh art, the artist, migration, and identity are at the heart of a new series of film screenings on the big screen at the Museum Cinema from April 17 to July 11, 2026.
A sort of Letterboxd for Indigenous and immigrant artists from Montreal, the EnraCINÉ series features 10 films presented by 10 artists. Authors, filmmakers, illustrators, DJs, poets… It is through the trained and sophisticated eyes of these artists that we will be able to discover these films.

There are timeless classics, such as Matthieu Kassovitz’s La Haine (1995) and Michel Ocelot’s Kirikou and the Sorceress (1998), which hold a special place in the hearts of those who grew up in immigrant families.
There are also lesser-known films that are just as sublime and important, such as UNCLE BOONMEE WHO CAN RECALL HIS PAST LIVES (2010) by Apichatpong Weerasethakul and Atlantique ( 2019) by Mati Diop.
