In Montreal, we love to party, but it’s true that even though we’re on an island and in summer we have a few urban beaches where we can dance the night away, we can’t say they’re totally exotic. Unfortunately, palm trees don’t grow by themselves in Quebec.
But just a 45-minute drive from downtown, you’d think you were in Miami, or in Barcelona’s Barcelonetta, or on an eternal spring break . It’s the Beachclub on Pointe-Calumet beach…
The Beachclub
The Beachclub follows a successful formula: bikinis, big DJs and performers from all over the world, champagne, swimming pools and sold-out parties. And the Beach Club does it very, very well.
The summer of 2024 was to be the club’s last on Pointe-Calumet beach, and owner Olivier Primeau had announced that the Beachclub would be demolished due to new flood zones designated by the municipality.
In March of this year, in a turn of events, Primeau made a second announcement, and reopened the Beachclub for the summer of 2025 – the 30th anniversary of this now iconic club.
North America’s #1 outdoor club
In 2015, Kylie Jenner celebrated her 18th birthday here, and since then, the club has been recognized worldwide as one of the best outdoor parties on the planet.

Nightlife named Beachclub in its list of the 100 best clubs in the world, and 1st in outdoor clubs in North America (ahead of Miami’s beach clubs-although).
It’s also the biggest beach club in Canada: it can accommodate 5,500 people.
Dream programming
This summer, the Beachclub got the season off to a flying start with emblematic guests from the international electro scene: David Guetta, Jason Derulo, Slander…
And for the rest of the summer, the Beachclub island will play host to DJ Snake, Dustin Lynch, Chris Lake and the club’s iconic SOLARA Party.
