About Le 9e
Le 9e has a deep-set history in Montreal. Crafted by architect Jacques Carlu, the space was meant to emulate the feeling of traveling on the luxury cruisers of the 30s. To restore the heritage venue, original materials — from oak and walnut floors to marble pillars and walls — were used to pay homage to the historical venue.
Today, Le 9e is home to the legendary Île-de-France restaurant as well as a cocktail bar, Le French Line.
