Montreal may not be the most pleasant city in the world in summer (my God, the wasps!) , but in autumn it’s the East Coast autumn capital of the world, just like in the movies…
Autumn is going to be sunny, windy and cool – perfect for the season of color, Thanksgiving and pumpkin spice latte…
Our October agenda is as spooky as the season of darkening days; we’ll be connecting with the moon and ancestors, eating pecan pie, foraging for pumpkins in enchanted fields and celebrating – with a little hand-knitted scarf from Mom, of course…
Agenda for October 2025

One of Montreal’s biggest thrift stores is coming to UQÀM, and it’s an ephemeral thrift store of business clothes-for baby finance bros and for everyone starting a new job this fall.

October 1: BLUSH – Opulent Affair
Because autumn is also cuffing season… and because falling in love with blushing leaves is very, very romantic.
For those tired of apps and douchebags, we recommend a ticket to the BLUSH party. Cocktails, conversation, a little exclusivity – and it’s in one of our favorite bars for a date in Montreal.

October 4: Moon gazing at the Planetarium’s Rendez-vous Célestes
You might think that in the city, you can’t see the stars – only the satellites – but if you know where to look, you can see a lot more of the sky than you think. That’s why the Planetarium is offering these free evenings to observe the stars and celestial events visible in the Montreal sky.
You’ll also be able to learn more about the sky – a new hobby that can replace or add to an obsession with astrology, perhaps?
Each Rendez-vous télescope will be themed around the celestial event to be observed that evening, with a telescope observation session and a show hosted by the Planetarium team every 30 minutes to reveal all the secrets of the stars (in English and French).
On October 4, we’ ll be focusing on the Moon…

October 31: Halloween
It’s said that on the night of October 31 to November 1, the veil between the world of the living and the dead is at its thinnest – and that the ancestors take a break from their eternal rest to take a look at us. November 1st is All Saints Day, a Christian celebration of the dead and the saints.
In Montreal, we love Halloween for the colorful festivities that come with a party for the ghosts and demons of the past, and because we know that afterwards the days will dramatically shorten and the icy wind of winter will blow across the city.
*TITANIC: an immersive voyage
After winning over cities including New York and Atlanta (and more recently Toronto), TITANIC: An Immersive Voyage makes a stop in Montreal this summer. Moving and even playful, it’s an adventure that will challenge your knowledge of the TITANIC (and yes, even the most passionate).
Thanks to recreations of iconic locations such as the grand staircase, an impressive collection of relics, and immersive adventures(virtual reality, cutting-edge technology…), the TITANIC presents itself to us – the opportunity to plunge into the past, right back to that fateful night in 1912 when the ship sank into the depths of theocean.

*Hike in the forest to see the colors of Quebec autumn
From what we’ve read in this year’s Farmers’ Almanac, autumn is going to be cool, wet and windy, with days of warm sunshine and long, cold nights.
Conditions will be perfect for the leaves to turn red on the trees fairly early (late September), and the best way to see them is to take a walk in the region’s forests and mountains.
Happy October!
