A Montreal classic and our favorite place for tea, the Palm Court at the Ritz-Carlton offers three services daily in a royal, refined and elegant atmosphere. Drop by with your most distinguished air at 11:30, 13:30 or 15:30 to share a cup of tea accompanied by scones with Devonshire cream, jam and crustless sandwiches!

2. Cardinal Tearoom
This magnificent Mile End tea room will take you back in time with its elegant Victorian decor and delicate porcelain cups. Take a tour of the Cardinal Tearoom saturdays and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. to take advantage of the service, which offers small sandwiches, muffins, curried eggs and other delicious bites.

3. Golden Gryphon
The Golden Gryphon has been a Monkland village staple since 2003. This small, family-run café is warm and friendly, with tasty treats. It offers tea service from Thursday to Sunday, 11 am to 5 pm, with the beverage of your choice and a three-tiered tea tray filled with tasty bites. A perfect way to spend an afternoon with friends!

4. Le Parloir
Located in the heart of the Plateau Mont-Royal and a few steps from La Fontaine Park, Le Parloir offers an unrivalled tea service in a festive and delicate atmosphere from Thursday to Sunday. Enjoy decadent, refined bites with an attention to detail that’s sure to please!

5. Burgundy Lion
On Sundays, this British pub offers a tea service in its rear solarium on the second floor, a warm, light-filled space that’s not very popular with customers. Switch to Burgundy Lion for a very British afternoon on a warm and peaceful indoor terrace, offered two Sundays a month. Please note that reservations are mandatory.

A tea service classic, the Queen Elizabeth has completely rethought the decor of its restaurant since the renovations of recent years. If you’re in the mood for an elegant afternoon tea in a sleek, modern setting, this is the place for you! It is offered every Saturday from 12 to 3 pm.
