The Christmas magic we remember as adults, sometimes with a touch of melancholy, wasn’t due to the existence of Santa Claus, nor to a vintage quality of a childhood without screens. It was colored by Wham’s Last Christmas – but more importantly, it was created by parents who took us to the mall every year to meet Santa.
And, today, we get to treat our kids to a day at Santa’s Village. A farm in Ontario is completely transformed during the holiday season and, during the 2.5-hour drive from downtown, you can listen to Last Christmas at least 35 times.

Country Christmas at Santa’s Village

Saunders Farm has been completely transformed into a Christmas village for the holidays, and we’re going to need all day to do all the activities – the kids won’t let us leave before then.
To do at the farm for your country christmas , there’s..;
- Light walk – Christmas experience
- Activity pavilion (bauble-making workshop, Mrs. Claus’ cookie-baking workshop, North Pole Post Office, Santa’s reindeer-feeding workshop & Miniature Village)
- Elf Academy Show
- Mazey Trouve son Étoile – puppet show
- Visit to Santa and his elves
- Outdoor games
- Braséros
- Festive food stalls
- MacIntosh’s CiderHouse*
- Field of Christmas trees and wreaths* The Farmshop
- The Farmshop*
- The Bear Factory*

The marshmallow topping hot chocolate of the visit is undoubtedly the night stroll under the Christmas lights and the night market.
You’ll be completely immersed in the holiday spirit as you stroll for 15 to 25 minutes along beautifully illuminated paths. Families can enjoy braziers, festive snacks and Christmas gift shopping in the night market.
Thanks to staggered, timed ticketing, the farm is never crowded, and without the crowds, it’s a truly magical experience.
