The goal of Prison Island? Solve as many puzzles as possible in 90 minutes to escape and claim victory. This isn’t a real prison, since you’ll have access to a bar, restrooms, and lockers for your personal belongings—but you’ve got to play along!
It’s not a race against the clock either: you can visit the cells in any order you like to rack up as many points as possible. All the cells are beginner-friendly, and if a challenge is too difficult, you can revisit them as many times as needed.
Introduced in France in 2019, Prison Island quickly took off. The experience made stops in Europe and Australia before settling in Canada, in Montreal—the perfect opportunity to test all its challenges.
