There’s nothing more Halloween-like than a night at the drive-in … Immediately, you think of The Town that Dreaded Sundown, Salem’s Lot, urban legends and the ’50s.
The idea of snuggling up to your lover dressed asFrankenstein (the new one where the monster is played by Jacob Elordi) or in a Scream mask with a pack of Twizzlers on your lap, under a full moon, is deliciously cinematic.
The drive-in, is also a place of nostalgia, movies seen with parents on long summer nights, the smell of fir trees and popcorn and motor oil.
This Halloween, one of the region’s coolest drive-ins organizes a family Halloween party for nostalgics, romantics and kids…
Ciné-parc Saint-Eustache, Halloween and an all-day party
The Saint-Eustache drive-in is the biggest and most modern in the region, and unfortunately the drive-in season is over (R.I.P. in summer).
For Halloween, the drive-in reopens its doors on Friday October 31 and Saturday November 1 for two days of activities and screenings of seasonal films…
On both evenings, Halloween movies will be shown – and they’re being kept secret by the drive-in until now, but we’re promised they’ll be for everyone.
Admission is free on both nights, so we recommend arriving early to make sure the evening doesn’t turn into a nightmare (too soon).
