This isn’t an April Fool’s joke… It will be 18 degrees Celsius in Montreal this Friday, April 3, 2026. After the winter we’ve had, and after long weeks of desperately waiting for spring to arrive, it’s finally going to be warm.
It’ll last 24 hours, and it’ll rain, but that’s really no big deal because the first warm day of spring in Montreal makes us want to dig our bikinis out of the back of the closet…
Weather forecast for Friday, April 3, 2026
On Friday, April 3, it will be fairly cool in the morning: 5°C. There will be a little rain, between 1 and 3 millimeters, and the humidity will be 93%. It’s a day for bikinis, and it’s also a day for frizzy hair. You can’t have everything.
In the afternoon, the temperature will climb by 13 degrees to 18°C, with a feels-like temperature of 21 degrees. It’s time to break out the bikinis, or at least switch to a T-shirt. It will be quite windy—you’ll want to keep your hair covered or accept that it will get tangled—with gusts up to 50 km/h. For the rest of the Easter long weekend, the weather forecast is more “seasonal” but still spring-like enough to be quite pleasant.
It’s going to rain, there will be a little sun, and the Easter egg hunt will take place in the wet grass…In addition to flowers and chocolate bunnies, we’ll pack some tea and milk in our wicker basket to spend the weekend cozy and warm.
On Saturday, April 4, it will be 9 degrees Celsius with a little rain. There will be some sunny spells, high humidity, and little wind. The sky will be overcast in the evening, with the temperature dropping to 2 degrees Celsius.
On Sunday, April 5, it will be 11 degrees Celsius with a little rain and lots of wind. It will be the perfect day to break out your rain boots and little basket and go play outside in the puddles.
